Avionté API updates: September 2026

In September 2026, we introduced new endpoints across Front Office and Back Office, expanded existing API and webhook functionality, and resolved several issues affecting API reliability, data handling, and document retrieval. See the rest of the article for details.

Front Office

This section includes two new endpoints, enhancements to existing API and webhook functionality, and fixes addressing API reliability, data handling, duplicate detection, and document retrieval.

New Endpoints

Enhancements

  • Placement Endpoints Now Return Additional Job Details
    The Add a Placement and Update a Placement endpoints now include the flsaClassification, remoteWork, and workScheduleType properties.
  • job_pipeline_talent_added and talent_submitted Now Include Additional Parameters
    job_pipeline_talent_added and talent_submitted webhook events now include the following parameters in their payloads:
    • JobId
    • TalentId

Fixed

  • Update a Company Overwrote the createdDate Field

    Resolved an issue where the Update a Company endpoint overwrote the company's createdDate field with the current request timestamp whenever the company was updated, regardless of whether createdDate was included in the request.

    With this fix, the existing createdDate value is preserved when updating a company.

  • Query Multiple Users Endpoint Returned 504 Timeout Errors

    Resolved an issue where the Query Multiple Users endpoint intermittently returned 504 Gateway Timeout errors when processing large multi-query requests.

    With this fix, the endpoint now processes multi-query requests more reliably and returns responses within expected performance thresholds under normal load conditions.

  • placement_started Webhook Event Did Not Always Populate Talent ID

    Resolved an issue where the talentId value was not populated in some placement_started webhook event payloads. Previously, the event could include the correct talentId in some cases but return null in others.

    With this fix, the placement_started event now correctly populates talentId.

  • Update a Contact Applied Inconsistent Duplicate-Checking Logic

    Resolved an issue where the Update a Contact endpoint checked only the email address when determining whether a contact was a duplicate, while Create a Contact for Department checked the first name, last name, and email.

    With this fix, Update a Contact now uses the same duplicate-checking criteria as the Create a Contact for Department endpoint. The update is blocked with a Duplicate contact record found error when the resulting first name, last name, and email all match an existing different contact. If the email matches but the first name or last name differs, the update succeeds.

  • Onboarding Document Endpoints Returned Incorrect Document Content

    Resolved an issue where the Get Talent Adobe Onboarding Documents and Get a Talent Adobe Onboarding Document endpoints could return a Base64-encoded HTML error page instead of the requested document content. Previously, this occurred for some documents even though the documents were accessible and visible in the UI.

    With this fix, the endpoints now return the actual PDF or document content as expected.

Back Office

This section includes a new endpoint and several enhancements to the Back Office endpoints.

  • Get Partner Export Batch Paged Data Now Supports Up to 5,000 Records Per Page

    The Get Partner Export Batch Paged Data endpoint now supports a maximum pageSize of 5,000, increased from the previous maximum of 100. This allows partners to retrieve larger export batches in fewer requests.

  • Get Benefit Partner Transaction Types Now Supports Additional Properties
    The Get Benefit Partner Transaction Types endpoint has been updated with the following changes:

    • Added an optional boolean request parameter returnAllGroups that determines whether all transaction groups for the benefit partner are returned.
    • Added a response parameter groupName that specifies the name of the transaction type group.

  • Benefit Payroll Endpoints Now Include Check Number

    The following endpoints now include the checkNumber response parameter:

  • Get Talent Deductions Now Includes Additional Deduction and Balance Information

    Get Talent Deductions now includes the following response parameters:

    • deductionAmountMtd
    • deductionAmountYtd
    • deductionAmountLtd
    • balanceAmount
